Race Recovery Smoothie

Last week I did a triathlon and instead of devouring the pizza, bagels, muffins and beer at the finish line, I opted to make this recovery smoothie when I got home.

I threw together whatever ingredients I had in my apartment and the result was delicious!

Race Recovery Smoothie

Yields: 1 Serving

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup coconut water

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1 banana (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 frozen acai packet

  • 1 scoop greens powder (I love Amazing Grass Orange Dreamsicle)

  • 1 scoop protein powder

DIRECTIONS

  1. Put ingredients in a blender in the order listed.

  2. Blend until smooth

  3. Serve immediately and enjoy!
