Mango Avocado Salsa
/During the summer months, our bodies tend to crave cooling, raw foods instead of heavy, cooked foods. This recipe is very easy and makes a great appetizer, snack or even a light meal. If I had to pick one word to describe it, it'd be: Refreshing!
Mango Avocado Salsa
Yields 1-2 Servings
INGREDIENTS
1 mango (peeled and diced)
1 avocado (peeled and diced)
Juice of 1/2 lime (1 tbsp)
3 tbsp cilantro (minced)
Sea salt (to taste)
Chili powder (to taste)
DIRECTIONS
Combine mango, avocado, and cilantro in a bowl
Add lime juice, sea salt and chili powder
Toss until well mixed so mango, avocado, and cilantro are fully coated
VARIATIONS
Add diced red onions
Add diced jalepeño pepper for added spice
Use as the filling for lettuce wraps, nori wraps, or spring rolls
Serve with chips
Double or triple the recipe for big groups!
