Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
/What to do when I'm hungry but out of food? I looked through my pantry and freezer and came up with this delicious concoction. I love adding Vitamin A rich pumpkin to anything and was thrilled when this combination of flavors hit the spot!
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
INGREDIENTS
6-8 oz unsweetened almond milk
1/2 c organic pumpkin (canned)
1/4 frozen banana
Stevia (to taste)
Cinnamon (to taste)
Pumpkin pie spice (lots!)
Optional: add a handful of leafy greens to boost the nutrient content.
DIRECTIONS
Put ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. If you don't have a frozen banana, use a fresh one and add ice (or pour smoothie over ice) as this tastes best when cold.
